Ponds & water features
in Hereford.

We design and build garden ponds, ornamental water features, and pondless water features across Hereford and Herefordshire. From the first excavation through to liner installation, edging, planting, and pump and filtration setup, every stage is handled properly — so your water feature holds well, runs cleanly, and looks right for years. Whether you want a formal ornamental pond for fish, or a pondless feature with the sound of moving water and no open water to maintain, we'll work with your garden and your brief.

Common questions about ponds & water features.

We use flexible butyl or EPDM rubber liners — these conform to any shape, are highly durable, and hold their integrity for decades with proper installation. The liner sits on a protective underlay to guard against stones and ground movement. We also use preformed fibreglass ponds. Edges can be finished with stone, timber, or planting to suit the style of your garden.
A fish pond almost always needs a pump and biological filter to keep the water clear and the fish healthy. Pondless features rely on a pump by design. We'll advise on the right setup for your pond type and size.
This can vary a lot — there's excavation, underlaying, lining, edging, and filling, and a larger or more involved build with rock work, cascades, or significant planting will take longer. We'll give you a clear idea when we quote.
We're based in Hereford and cover the city and surrounding areas — including Leominster, Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Bromyard, and Kington. Rural and village properties across Herefordshire are no problem. If you're not sure whether we cover your postcode, drop it in a WhatsApp and we'll confirm straight away.
